Grants in the amount of 20% of the total costs for the implementation of the BTM project are provided as co-financing, but not more than 2 million euros per project, within the available funds of the program.
80% of the grant is paid in installments in accordance with the company’s purchase plan for equipment/services. 20% of the grant is paid after the final audit.
The possibility of conducting an assessment of the project’s effectiveness – until September 2024.
The BTM project must relate to an installation that is covered by the scope of:
1) Directive 2010/75/EC (Appendix I).
2) Draft Law 6004-2 (Article 2).
To receive a grant, the enterprise must first obtain a loan from a Ukrainian bank for the implementation of the BTM project. When submitting the Initial Assessment Form, it is sufficient to provide credit funds in the project financing budget. A loan must be obtained on the eve of receiving grant funds from GIZ. Credit funds in the structure of costs for the implementation of the BTM project must be at least the size of the grant.
