An additional seven companies received the <em data-start=\"434\" data-end=\"454\">\u201cInitiative Award\u201d<\/em> in recognition of their efforts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"489\" data-end=\"564\">A full list of awardees and their thematic case studies is provided below.*<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"566\" data-end=\"731\">You can also view:<br data-start=\"584\" data-end=\"587\" \/>\u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.enms-award.com.ua\/uk\/novyny-ta-podiyi\/yeuea-razom-iz-unido-nagorodyla-ukrayinski-biznesy-v-ramkah-vseukrayinskoyi-premiyi-lidery-energetychnogo-menedzhmentu\/\">The official award ceremony press release<\/a><br data-start=\"637\" data-end=\"640\" \/>\u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.enms-award.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/250403_Information-digest_Pacesetters_final.pptx\">The informational digest <\/a>\u2014 a document highlighting key insights about each awardee.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"text-align: left;\" data-start=\"733\" data-end=\"826\">All applications were evaluated by an independent panel of leading energy management experts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Winners:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" data-pm-slice=\"1 1 &#091;&#093;\"><strong>In the &#8220;Excellence Award&#8221; category among large enterprises,<\/strong> the winner was <strong>&#8220;Ukrgrafit&#8221;<\/strong>, which received an award and a grant of $10,000.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In 2017, the company was certified in accordance with the international standard ISO 50001. Since the certification of the Energy Management System (EnMS), many modern solutions have been implemented to save energy resources and reduce their consumption in production, including:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\" data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>\n<p>Modernization of the graphitization process;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Modernization of the mechanical processing of carbon-graphite products;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Modernization of the baking process;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Modernization of the compressor station, and much more.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">As a result, 214.6 MWh of energy was saved, equivalent to 330 million UAH.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" data-pm-slice=\"1 1 &#091;&#093;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.enms-award.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Pryklad_SEnM_Grupa-1_PrAT-Ukrgrafit.pdf\"><strong>Example of EnMS implementation\/energy efficiency measures at Ukrgrafit<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" data-pm-slice=\"1 1 &#091;&#093;\"><strong>In the &#8220;Excellence Award&#8221; category among SMEs, three companies shared the victory and received grants of $5,000 each:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>1. &#8220;Trivium Packaging&#8221;<\/strong> received an award and a grant of $5,000.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Since 2022, the company has decided to implement an energy management system. Energy efficiency goals set within EnMS were achieved through projects focused on waste heat recovery, including:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\" data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>\n<p>Utilizing waste heat from air compressors for water heating;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Using excess heat from another compressor to heat production facilities;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Construction and commissioning of a rooftop solar power station;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Replacement of production and office lighting systems with LED lamps;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Upgrading the welding machine to a more energy-efficient model.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The implementation of these measures resulted in energy savings of 3,500 MWh, equivalent to 5 million UAH.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.enms-award.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Pryklad-SEnM-_Grupa-2-MSP_TOV-Tryvium-Pekedzhyng.pdf\"><strong>Example of EnMS implementation\/energy efficiency measures at Trivium Packaging<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>2. &#8220;Kyivguma&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The company faced energy instability challenges, particularly due to blackouts, which prompted the installation of a 671 kW solar power station. Additional initiatives included:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\" data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>\n<p>Insulating steam fittings with thermal covers;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Reconstructing steam pipeline insulation;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Automating drying equipment for dielectric gloves;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Eliminating structural leaks in the finger cot production unit.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">These measures led to energy savings of 1,713 MWh, equivalent to 9.8 million UAH.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.enms-award.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Pryklad_-SEnM_Grupa-2_-MSP_Kyyivguma.pdf\"><strong>Example of EnMS implementation\/energy efficiency measures at Kyivguma<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>3. &#8220;Kyiv Pasta Factory&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Following an energy audit in 2022, the company implemented:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\" data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>\n<p>Reconstruction of the heating and hot water supply system;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Installation of an exhaust air heat recovery unit;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Thermal modernization of buildings;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Optimization of the compressed air system;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Burner replacement in the gas boiler;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Modernization of the lighting system.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">These initiatives resulted in energy savings of 436 MWh, equivalent to 1.1 million UAH.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.enms-award.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Pryklad_SEnM_Grupa_2_MSP_TOV-Kyyivska-makaronna-fabryka.pdf\"><strong>Example of EnMS implementation\/energy efficiency measures at Kyiv Pasta Factory<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Participants:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>1. &#8220;Zaporizhkoks&#8221; <\/strong>(Zaporizhzhia) \u2013 one of the largest coke producers in Ukraine. Since implementing ISO 50001 in 2013, energy intensity in production has decreased by 12%, saving 543 million UAH and reducing CO\u2082 emissions by 92.3 thousand tons.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.enms-award.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Pryklad_SEnM_Grupa_1_PrAT-Zaporizhkoks.pdf\"><strong>Example of EnMS implementation\/energy efficiency measures at Zaporizhkoks<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>2. &#8220;Agro Kar Ukraine&#8221; <\/strong>(Kropyvnytskyi) \u2013 a company specializing in the sale of agricultural machinery, spare parts, and related products. In 2024, a 60 kW solar panel system was installed, covering 50% of electricity consumption. This resulted in a 23% reduction in electricity use and a CO\u2082 emission reduction of 42.5 tons.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.enms-award.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Pryklad_SEnM_Grupa2_MSP_AgroKar.pdf\"><strong>Example of EnMS implementation\/energy efficiency measures at Agro Kar Ukraine<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>3. &#8220;Oberbeton-Invest&#8221; <\/strong>(Zhytomyr) \u2013 a domestic manufacturer of custom reinforced concrete structures. Energy efficiency measures allowed for a reduction in energy consumption by 1.1 GWh and CO\u2082 emissions by 340 tons.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.enms-award.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Pryklad-SEnM-_Grupa-2-MSP_TOV-Oberbeton-Invest.pdf\"><strong>Example of EnMS implementation\/energy efficiency measures at Oberbeton-Invest<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>4.\u00a0 &#8220;Uzhgorod Sewing Factory&#8221; <\/strong>(Uzhgorod) \u2013 represented under the &#8220;Parada&#8221; brand, specializing in women\u2019s clothing manufacturing. Modernization of boiler equipment, lighting, and the installation of a 100 kW solar power station resulted in energy savings of 282.5 MWh, reducing CO\u2082 emissions by 102.3 tons.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.enms-award.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Pryklad_SEnM_Grupa-2-MSP_PrAT-Uzhgorodska-shvejna-fabryka.pdf\"><strong>Example of EnMS implementation\/energy efficiency measures at Uzhgorod Sewing Factory<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">5.<\/span><\/strong><strong>\u00a0&#8220;Khorol Mechanical Plant&#8221; <\/strong>(Khorol) \u2013 a manufacturer of agricultural machinery and equipment. Energy efficiency measures led to a 1.5 GWh reduction in energy consumption and a CO\u2082 emission decrease of 501 tons.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.enms-award.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Pryklad_SEnM_Grupa-2-MSP_PrAT-Horolskyj-mehanichnyj-zavod.pdf\"><strong>Example of EnMS implementation\/energy efficiency measures at Khorol Mechanical Plant<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">6. <\/span><\/strong><strong>&#8220;Pryluky Sewing Factory&#8221; <\/strong>(Pryluky) \u2013 an enterprise with over 80 years of history in garment production. Equipment upgrades and the installation of a 210 kW solar power station resulted in energy savings of 650 MWh, reducing CO\u2082 emissions by 300 tons.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.enms-award.com.ua\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Pryklad_SEnM_Grupa-2-MSP_PrAT-Prylutska-shvejna-fabryka.pdf\"><strong>Example of EnMS implementation\/energy efficiency measures at Pryluky Sewing Factory<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">7. <\/span><\/strong><strong>Paramilitary Mine Rescue Unit <\/strong>(Pavlohrad) \u2013 specializes in emergency response and disaster mitigation.
