On October 14, the 13th Energy Day of the European-Ukrainian Energy Agency (EUEA) was held in Vienna with the participation of leading experts from the |UNIDO, EIB, the EBRD, the Energy Community Secretariat, the German agency GIZ and other experts representatives of leading companies.
Marco Matteini, project manager of UNIDO’s energy department, provided information about the experience of large industrial enterprises in reducing energy consumption by process optimization. He also mentions that in achieving the goals of decarbonization of production, it is not only important to replace the equipment, but equally important is the training of qualified employees and the implementation of the energy management system.
