The State Energy Efficiency Agency is developing new technical regulations on eco-design and energy labeling of energy-consuming products in accordance with updated EU requirements.
Currently, the Agency is working on technical regulations regarding eco-design requirements for refrigerating appliances, light sources and independent control devices, household washing machines and household washer-dryers, household dishwashers, and small, medium, and large power transformers. Technical regulations on energy labeling for refrigerators, household washing machines, and household washer-dryers are also being developed.
In 2023, the State Energy Efficiency Agency plans to develop a number of technical regulations on establishing requirements for ecodesign and energy labeling, in particular:
1) technical regulations on ecodesign requirements for:
– electronic displays;
– refrigerating appliances with the function of direct sale;
– external power sources;
– electric motors and drives with variable speeds;
– servers and data storage products;
– welding equipment;
2) technical regulations of energy labeling:
– refrigerating appliances with the function of direct sale;
– electronic displays.
