All-Ukrainian Award:
Pacesetters for Energy Management

Andriy Volkov, the founder, and managing partner of the Investohills group of companies claim that business owners in Ukraine, if they are willing to spend any money at all, only on relocation, energy efficiency, logistics, and increasing the intensity of production.

At the same time, Volkov emphasized that businessmen only invest their own money. Because there is no capital from the outside. Neither from non-residents nor banks that practically do not lend to anyone.

Therefore, according to the businessman, only export-oriented agricultural companies, enterprises in the oil and gas sector, and possibly retail trade can afford such investments.

As for foreign investors, as Volkov noted, they also lack incentives to invest capital in a warring country. The threat of losing money is too high, while the chances of successful implementation of any projects, on the contrary, are slim.

Although potentially, according to him, investors are still interested in Ukraine. And there are a lot of people willing to develop new projects here. But the war must end and peace is guaranteed to come. Only then will serious investment money return to Ukraine.
